We’re always on the look-out for people who are full of the right kind of beans. People who have the mud factor. People who know that the thing that makes a working day more worthwhile is making other people happy. If you get it and if you’ve got it, stick your hand in the air and let us know that you exist…

Senior Mechanic

Mud Dock is an iconic bike shop and café in the centre of Bristol. We’re set over two floors of an old harbourside building that was refurbished in 1994. Since then, our love of bikes and food have worked together for over 32 years, thanks to a raft of amazing staff and great customers. These days the bike shop’s main trade revolves around cargo bikes from Tern, the folding bikes of Brompton, and everything in between covered by Trek.

We are currently recruiting a Senior Mechanic to join and help progress our busy, dynamic workshop. You’ll play a key role in delivering attentive, professional servicing and advice for our customers on a range of bikes that might require detailed servicing and fault diagnosis.

An average day might see you swapping out a warranty Bosch motor on a Canyon e-MTB, re-installing the lighting system on a GSD cargo bike, performing rear-hinge replacements on a Brompton, and/or dialling in a Di2 system for TT-bike, all while maintaining the smooth operation of the workshop.
